Ninety-Nine Red Drifloons

so Christmas Eve was nice and busy - a full day at work, followed by running to church to play bells at the Christmas Mass. then we went home, had super-special-frozen-pizza-dinner, opened stockings, and opened one gift each (family tradition). my sister opened her drum pads (which she's been playing nonstop since), dad opened Planet of the Apes, mom got her perfume (I forget which one), and I opened the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows PS3 game XD;; then we watched a bunch of Christmas movies and went to bed after, since my mom unfortunately had to work Christmas day.

I got up in the morning to find my dog had developed an ear infection seemingly overnight :( we check her ears several times a week since she's got floppy ears (more prone to infection), but somehow she must have gotten them wet (it's already cleared up as of right now, though!). my sister and I made grilled PBJ sandwiches for breakfast since we're lazy, and cleaned up a bit to get things ready for Christmas dinner - prime rib! the rest of the day we spent with dad, decided against going to the theaters in favor of watching movies at home, playing board games, etc.
we made prime rib for dinner! so delicious ;o; my sister practically scarfed it down, though, since she wanted to open presents. such an adult XD dinner was followed by 100% too much fun unwrapping presents, and encouraging bad dog behavior by telling Fiona to shred the wrapping paper.

I also wanted to send a big thank you to anyone who's sent gifts/cards! I haven't sent all of mine yet since I waited too long to avoid major holiday lines, but I've gotten some wonderful things, like fire piggies from shayminlove and THE BEST FLINT/RAPIDASH DOODLE from antoj. omg, I have to scan this. it's the best forever XD

today was spent on a normal breakfast, driving around to visit my 3 uncles (though we only visited 2, since one is sick and my mom just had a treatment), and then we were going to see Warhorse, but my mom took too long getting ready so we saw Tower Heist instead. just now we watched Toy Story 3 while tying in hair tinsel and cried again XD it leaves me just enough time to get ready for bed and work tomorrow. yaaaay!

it's still sticky and unused and omggggggg. I bid 7000 yen on it thinking it was tiny and pokedoll BUT IT'S HUGE AND PLUSHPLUSH ASKDJAHDKJH


plus, in the same box came ALL THE STATIONARY IN THE WORLD. and there is a 2002 pokedoll notepad featuring the first run pokedolls!

also for the cat! she is fine, and worth $800 more than two weeks ago. $800 HAIRBALL, HOW DID YOU DO THAT. she's a shorthair cat, and our longhair cat is an outdoor cat only. whaaaaat. Jynx you are evil.
as I type this, she's sitting at my feet smugly waiting for her fancy feast.

finished set up for summer 2 promo launch tomorrow

tasted ~~fancy~~ new test market beverages. cool lime and very berry hibiscus refreshers. not sure if I like them. too sweet and not enough... tart? I guess for fruity flavored things. however, they have a slice of lime/blackberries in them, which is pretty cool. I want a passion tea lemonade with a slice of lime now.

homemade lasagna for dinner. my house smells delicious~
